Mid
December
January
February |
Generally, this period of time
brings some exciting squalls full of rain to chase, or wind lasting from
from a few minutes to nearly an hour. You have to be ready. Generally, low wind sailors can always find somewhere where the
wind is just right.

March,
April, May
Beginning June

Generally
there is great wind for intermediates the wind average around 12 to 15
knots. |

Mid
June
July
August
|
These are the best of days, around 15 knots. This is really the best time to learn as the wind is nice and
constant and very predictable, so really it's great for everyone.

September
through
Mid December |
This is a very fickle period of time. You can have excellent days and
then get so little wind that I can't even do a beginner lesson
correctly! This is generally due to the many storms passing us by. |
